Tech startups are plentiful but for those that eventually succeed it requires strong passion and commitment from many contributors, both inside and outside the company. For those entrepreneurs who seek interaction with others who share the same vision and are interested in collaboration and partnerships Echelon 2012 is an essential event. The 2012 conference will be held in Singapore at the University Cultural Centre, National University of Singapore, on the 11th and 12th of June. The primary focus of the event is the startup scene and how to make it “Awesomer” as well as facilitate collaboration from across the globe, not just within Asia. There will be six additional Echelon events to be held in the following Asian cities: Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Ho Chi Minh City, Tokyo, and Taipei.

Attendees are encouraged to submit their own startup proposal to be judged and possibly selected by industry experts to pitch on stage at the event. More information is here.
